On Demand: Economic Development Tools and Strategies
This module describes economic development tools and strategies. The first segment describes the public-private partnership tools that local governments use to engage in economic development, and some of the legal requirements associated with those tools. The second segment will discuss how North Carolina local governments use the tools as part of their broader strategies to support private investment and job creation, and it will describe the options for organizing and structuring the delivery of economic development programs and services.
