Caswell & Lenoir Counties — college advising?

By CED Guest Author

Published October 20, 2009

The Carolina College Advising Corps helps low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students find their way to college. By placing recent UNC-Chapel Hill graduates as advisers in high schools across North Carolina, the Corps helps students plan their college searches, complete admissions and financial-aid applications, and enroll at schools that will serve them well. The Advising Corps is not currently represented in Caswell or Lenoir Counties. Is there a local interest in this type of support?

    Hello Will,

Can the Carolina College Advising Corps work with Granville Academy in Lenoir County?

Nate, the College Advising Corps works directly through the school system and corps members are placed in schools. Do you think the superintendent in Lenoir would be interested? if so, we could probably make it happen
