The Yanceyville Artisans’ Gallery is moving right along! This post will discuss the progress of the Artisans’ Gallery over the last few weeks. The Gallery chose its downtown location and renovations are currently being made by the property owner to prepare for our rental. A UNC-Chapel Hill Studio Art graduate student will curate for the Gallery once the rental agreement is signed. We are very excited to have a space selected and to see repairs being made to the downtown. In order to incorporate more community involvement in our project, the Artisans’ Gallery is having logo design contest for students at Bartlett Yancey High School and Piedmont Community College’s Caswell County Campus. The winner of the contest will receive $100 gift card and have their logo incorporated into the Artisans’ Gallery marketing. All contest participants will have their work displayed during the Gallery’s opening. Gallery’s Steering Committee also recently developed its internal structure. The group formed action committees which will work on various projects over the next few months. We are also in the process of developing our Board. We expect November to be a very exciting month for the Artisans’ Gallery. Please keep an eye on our blog for updates throughout the month! |

The Yanceyville Artisans’ Gallery is moving right along! This post will discuss the progress of the Artisans’ Gallery over the last few weeks.
The Gallery chose its downtown location and renovations are currently being made by the property owner to prepare for our rental.
