Caswell & Lenoir Counties — college advising?

The Carolina College Advising Corps helps low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students find their way to college. By placing recent UNC-Chapel Hill graduates as advisers in high schools across North Carolina, the Corps helps students plan their college searches, complete admissions and financial-aid applications, and enroll at schools that will serve them well. The Advising Corps is not currently represented in Caswell or Lenoir Counties. Is there a local interest in this type of support?

Will Lambe authored the NC Rural Center report, Small Towns, Big Ideas, and he served as Director of the Community and Economic Development Program at the School of Government from 2009 to 2014.
